Mikael Daez, Megan Young share cafe and restaurants they discovered in their recent Baguio trip

Mikael Daez and Megan Young shared some of the restaurants and cafe they discovered during their trip to Baguio City just before the Christmas holidays.

In their vlog, the Kapuso couple enjoyed their hotel view, chilly December weather, good Japanese food, and warm cups of coffee.

"Driving up to Baguio City on a chilly December in 2020 and finding out that it's devoid of the usual tourist crowd was an experience that Boneezy and I may never experience again," Mikael said.

"The serenity of our popular mountain destination was jarring and, at the same time, beautiful. We walked through the pine trees and enjoyed our coffee in peace and quiet. But, enough of this poetic captioning," he added.

Their first stop was called the "Hatch," a cozy house turned coffee shop in Baguio which according to Mikael is owned by one of his school mates.

Megan and Mikael's next stop is called "Chaya," a homey and quaint Japanese restaurant which was suggested to them by the owner of "Hatch."

Another Japanese restaurant in Baguio they checked out is Hamada, where they had Teppanyaki.

According to the couple, the best thing about cafes and restaurants in the city is they have the windows open to let the natural cool breeze in.
