Pia Wurtzbach slays in 9-cover shoot for Dubai-based luxury magazine
Miss Universe 2016 Pia Wurtzbach slayed not once, but nine times on the cover of a Dubai-based luxury magazine.
The Filipino beauty queen kicked off the year by sharing on Instagram her glamorous nine-cover photoshoot for XPedition’s New Year issue.
Pia looked fierce in different designer pieces for each of the nine layouts, all of which were uploaded on IG with digital animation and music.
“I’ve never done a cover shoot this big. It took us three days to finish all the layouts, and we shot them all around Dubai,” Pia said in one of her captions.
“I love all the looks that we did too! They’re so different. This is a fashion layout I’ve never tried before. It’s not something people are used to seeing me in, but that’s why I love it! I love being a chameleon with fashion.”
Pia's nine-cover shoot was part of the magazine’s special edition cover to celebrate its 6th anniversary.
Xpedition also named Pia “Woman of the Year” for 2020, a recognition she courageously defended from bashers, who posted hurtful comments saying she did not deserve the award. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
