Skies light up through 'We Light as One' event to pay tribute to frontliners
The lights and sounds industry paid tribute to frontliners by illuminating the skies on Easter Sunday through the "We Light as One" event.
The event was held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. all over the country, as the industry called for solidarity amid the COVID-19 crisis.
In Las Pinas City, a luminous heart-shaped rosary was seen brightening up its skies.
General Santos City also had a heart-shaped theme, and in one instance formed a resemblance of the Sacred Heart.
The Dambana ng Kagitingan Memorial Cross, which symbolizes the heroism of Filipino and American soldiers during World War II, radiated through the dark as it also serves as a beacon of hope in Pilar, Bataan.
