Tom Rodriguez goes to NASA, meets colorblind astronaut

Tom Rodriguez is a lucky guy indeed!

The Kapuso actor was given a chance to visit NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and based on the pictures, he had quite the adventure.

Tom even got to meet a special man — Roger Crouch, a colorblind astronaut.

Roger had been turned down when he applied for the US Navy, Marines, and Air Force because of his condition, but NASA gave him a shot.

At the age of 56, Crouch was able to go to space in 1983.

NASA will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, while the Apollo 11 mission will mark its 50th anniversary.
