Jasmine Curtis-Smith shows off the beauty of Culion
Jasmine Curtis-Smith two weeks in Palawan's Culion and on her Instagram account, showed off the island's serene beauty.
The Kapuso actress may have been there to shoot her upcoming movie "Culion," but wasn't not all work and no play for Jasmine. She was able to squeeze in a little R&R time, swimming in the waters of Palawan.
Jasmine spent "A bittersweet Sunday as I leave what has been home for the past two weeks," she wrote in one of her Instagram posts.
"We may have encountered multiple challenges but I am so honored to be part of Sir Ricky Lee's storytelling, Direk Alvin Yapan's direction and translation of the story, Direk @neildaza's vision and amazing lighting, and @shandiijossa's masterpiece project," she added.
The Kapuso actress hopes the film would "teach people about the island, what it went through and how they overcame it."
Jasmine will play the role of Doris, a leper patient who live in Culion in the 1940s when no cure has yet been found and no one is allowed to leave the island. She is also starring with Meryll Soriano and Iza Calzado.
