Statue of Saint Vincent Ferrer in Pangasinan is world's tallest bamboo sculpture

The statue of Saint Vincent Ferrer in Bayambang, Pangasinan now holds the Guinness World Record as tallest bamboo sculpture in the world.

According to a report by Darlene Cay in GMA News TV's "Balita Pilipinas Ngayon" on Monday, the carved image of the town's patron saint stands over 100 feet tall.

The tourists were amazed at the sight of the enormous sculpture that is displayed at the Saint Vincent Prayer Park.

The statue could well be a new destination for those who would like to meditate in the upcoming observance of the Holy Week. —NB, GMA News
