On her top favorite beaches
Gabbi is a water baby at heart and hopping from one beach to another is one of her hobbies. Though she has visited islands outside the Philippines, Gabbi says nothing compares to Philippine beaches.
"Ang dami ko nang beaches [na napuntahan]. Kakwatsera kasi ako. I went to Hawaii, it's really nice, don't get me wrong, pero at the end of the day, mas maganda sa Pilipinas. Pilipinas pa din," Gabbi laughingly shared, adding, if she's visiting a tropical country, going to the beach is a must for her.
Among the Kapuso actor's favorite beaches are Palawan, Boracay, and Anilao.
"I went to Palawan, it's really beautiful. I haven't been to the new Boracay but I went to Boracay like six times na before it's really nice, and diving sites Anilao is really good.
"I went to Antique — I forgot the name of the island but it's like a sand bar na ang ganda ganda. Siquijor is really nice too," she said.
On her summer date ideas
Detailing her fun experience trekking Mt. Batulusong with her rumor boyfriend Khalil Ramos last January, Gabbi suggests going on a hike.
"It's really nice. It's like Batanes pero in Rizal. The hike is a bit challenging but it's really worth it. It has three summits and we reached actually the pinakataas so it's worth it. 'Yon pa lang 'yong naha-hike namin, but I do recommend Mt. Batulusong," Gabbi shared.
The Kapuso Millennial It Girl said they do a lot of fun things together, "Ang dami naming trip Nag-airsoft kami."
Gabbi who's known to love diving said she was supposed to take Khalil with her when she previously reached a milestone, diving 120 feet under the sea, but their schedules would not permit the activity.
When that happens — scheduling mishaps and what not — the pair bonds over food trips.
"Kami ni Kal, doon kami nagkakasundo. We binge on hole in the wall restaurants around Makati, around BGC. We always go to Poblacion — actually not to drink but to eat. We love to eat," she said.
When asked for a memorable meal, Gabbi points to Toyo Eatery in Karrivin Plaza on Chino Roces in Makati.
"It has an eleven course tasting menu, and it's such a nice experience kasi they have stories behind their dishes."
Work hard, work out harder (..umm maybe not that hard!????????????????????????????????????)
