2 Manila hotels make it to the first Forbes 'most luxurious' list
Forbes Travel Guide recently released its first annual verified list of 58 most luxurious hotels in the world and two Manila hotels made the cut.
Nuwa Hotel at City of Dreams and Sky Tower at Solaire are the only representatives of the Philippines.
“Nuwa Manila is one of the newest and most sought-after luxury hotels in the Philippines,” Forbes said of the hotel that officially opened in December 2015 and which rebranded in 2017.
It is “all about sophistication and luxury…designed by world-renowned architect Michael Fiebrich, every nook and cranny exudes elegance,” Forbes continued of the 254-lavishly appointed roomed hotel, one of three in City of Dreams.
Of Sky Tower, Forbes highlighted its “courteous and well-trained staff – clad in outfits designed by celebrated local fashion designer and innovator Rajo Laurel --- represents fine Filipino hospitality, adding a whole new level of satisfaction to the all-suite Manila hotel.”
According to Forbes, the Most Luxurious hotel winners are “the top performers in the standards that focus on sumptuous comfort, as well as extravagant choices and conveniences afforded to guests.”
“In a time when so many properties claim to be luxurious the word has become ubiquitous. Forbes travel guide’s verified lists give guests an objective, data-driven source for making informed choices,” said Amanda Frasier, Forbes Travel Guide’s Executive Vice President for Ratings.
“These illustrious properties have been thoroughly tested and verified to ensure that they deliver luxury at every turn,” she continued.
