Malacañang of the North continues to draw at least 1k visitors daily
More than 1,000 tourists visit the Malacañang of the North every day, making it a top tourist destination in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, a report on Unang Balita said on Tuesday.
The tourist spot, a presidential museum and former residence of the family of late president Ferdinand Marcos, has maintained its beauty through the years.
Its original interior design and old furniture can still be seen by tourists.
Outside the residential area, visitors can catch a glimpse of its beautiful garden and the Paoay Lake, which is perfect for the summer season.
Other popular tourist destinations in Ilocos Norte include the Paoay Church, a UNESCO world heritage site for baroque architecture, the Bangui windmills, and the La Paz sand dunes. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KG, GMA News
