Reuse and repurpose is 2025's fashion trend – stylist
It's time to open your grandparents' closet and turn their old clothes and accessories into something new for your OOTDs next year!
In Dano Tingcungco's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, fashion stylist Gee Jocson said reusing and repurposing clothes will be a trend in 2025.
Old brooches and pins can also add a statement to your OOTDs.
"We get to reuse 'yung gamit na nakikita natin sa closet ng grandparents natin. We can borrow it from them and use it which is nice kasi we get to save environment," she said.
Clothes both showing functionality and individuality will be the next big thing in 2025.
"The general mood are unconventional cuts. You crop it or make it sleeveless but button down pa rin. 'Yung very unconventional to the eye but still wearable for your everyday living," Jocson said.
Multifunctional clothes like jackets with many pockets will also be trendy next year.
"We don't want to carry bags much anymore in the Philippines. We're leaning more towards utilitarian wear jackets with four pockets," she said.
When it comes to bottom wear, layering clothes or skirts over pants will be a big thing especially for boys.
