Alex Consani and Valentina Sampaoi become first trans models to walk the Victoria Secret fashion show

The Victoria Secret fashion show returned after a 6-year hiatus, with a long list of supermodels walking the runway including Kate Moss, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Gigi and Bella Hadid.
But that's not all. The lingerie brand made sure they made a mark as Alex Consani and Valentina Sampaoi become the first trans models to participate in a Victoria Secret fashion show.
On Instagram, both Alex and Valentina shared their delight at being part of the show.
Posting photos of her runway walk, Alex said, "Little me is screaming. I can’t even say anything other than thank you."
"Victoria Secret, ILY," she said.
Meanwhile, Valentina posted a video of herself signing an angel's wing and said she was still speechless after her historic walk.
"Still no words for today! Marked for life!" She wrote triumphantly.
The first trans model to work with Victoria Secret back in 2019 promised to "post more tomorrow!" Before thanking her followers.
Speaking to People, the 27-year-old Brazilian model said "I’m honored to walk with pride, love and the hope of inspiring the next generation. Thank you, Victoria’s Secret, for making a long-held dream come true."
The Victoria Secret fashion show took place on October 15 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City. Cher, Blackpink's Lisa were among the performers that evening.
