Lisa of Blackpink is ethereal on MTV VMAs red carpet

Lisa of Blackpink was a total head-turner at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) red carpet.

The singer wore an ivory gown with a fitted corset-type bodice, chic hood and gloves, and a layered gold necklace.

She also slayed on stage as she performed her solo comeback songs, “Rockstar” and “New Woman.” Lisa looked every inch the rockstar in a bright red leather ensemble, with studs, crosses, and safety pins.

The MTV VMAs was held at the UBS Arena in New York.

The Blackpink star bagged four VMA nominations for “Rockstar," namely Best K-pop, Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, and Best Editing.

“Rockstar” was released in June, and is Lisa’s first song and music video after launching her own record label, Lloud. In August, Lisa released the song “New Woman” featuring Spanish singer Rosalia.

Lisa debuted as a solo artist with the record-breaking singles “LALISA” and “Money.”

In 2023, she was featured in “Shoong” by BIGBANG’s Taeyang.
