Heart Evangelista to skip New York Fashion Week in September

Heart Evangelista will not attend any shows during New York Fashion Week (NYFW), which is set to take place from September 6 to 11.

On Instagram Stories, the Global Fashion Icon said she has prior commitments in Asia, Milan, and Paris scheduled on the same dates as NYFW.

"It wouldn't be smart for me to be all over the place," Heart said.

"Maybe next season, but it still depends," she added. "Time is precious, and health is important."

Heart ended her post humorously and said, "Bawal haggard."

It's been a busy Q3 for Heart, who fronted PeopleAsia magazine's August-September issue with her husband Senate President Chiz Escudero.

She renewed her contract with GMA Network in late July, after attending the GMA Gala 2024 and the third State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos with her husband.

On top of her fashion and showbiz commitment, she also took on the role of the President of the Senate Spouses Foundation. 

In March, Heart ranked as the third-highest-ranking celebrity who generated high media impact value at the Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, amounting to $3.6M.
