Singaporean lifestyle brand The Paper Bunny to launch dedicated website for the Philippines
Singaporean lifestyle brand The Paper Bunny has exciting news for Filipino fans!
All the way from Singapore, couple and co-founders Jaime Lee and Justin Tan flew to the Philippines to announce that they are bringing their well-loved items closer to the country by launching a website for the Filipino market.
Aside from the lower shipping rates and providing faster delivery, the website will also house a dedicated inventory for the country, which means higher chances of securing the piece you’ve been eyeing during launches.
“The Philippine community has always been very warm and welcoming to us, and we felt that it was a very natural evolution of the brand to continue to bring The Paper Bunny to Filipinos. The website is meant to make it more accessible,” Justin said in an interview with GMA News Online.
According to Justin, the Philippines is one of their brand’s top markets.
“I think what’s interesting is that I think the Philippine community is not just after one category of products, but they also do shop a wide range of what we offer, so I guess it makes sense to really have that website, that dedicated platform for the community here,” he said.
He acknowledged that their items online, especially the puffer bags, move really fast, and oftentimes, Filipinos resort to “pasabuys” through those who are traveling to Singapore.
The special site will also introduce a Club TPB rewards program, where customers can earn points with every purchase and redeem them for exclusive merchandise.
When asked if they have plans to open a physical store in the country, Justin said that they are looking forward to it, asking for recommendations on where they should open the first one so they could finally bring the whole experience of seeing the items in person to Filipino shoppers.
“It’s definitely something that we are hoping to do eventually,” he said. “Next year or so.”
The website thepaperbunny.com.ph officially launches on August 29, 2024. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
