Pia Wurtzbach talks about 'new chapter' in fashion as Vogue PH's August cover girl

Pia Wurtzbach is and will forever be Miss Universe, but her career's journey doesn't end there as she paves her way to make a name in the global fashion scene.

The Miss Universe 2015 and Bulgari's first Filipino friend of the house is the cover girl of Vogue Philippines for August.

Shot by Callum Inskip at the cinematic Villa Aurelia in Rome, Pia donned a royal blue dress by Alaïa and a high jewelry necklace from Bulgari.

In the cover story, Pia talked about embracing the newest chapter of her life as a growing force in the global fashion scene.

"It's not just about attending glamorous events," she told Vogue Philippines.

"I get to witness firsthand how different cultures, trends, and artistic influences shape fashion on a global scale," she added.

In June, Pia was named Bulgari's latest global brand ambassador, joining the ranks of Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, and Priyanka Chopra.

In May, Pia was named Global Fashion Influencer of The Year by EMIGALA Awards.

The recognition came at the heels of Pia being named by two data agencies, Lefty and Launchmetrics, as among the celebrities who generated the highest media values in the recent Milan Fashion Week.
