Pia Wurtzbach becomes global ambassador of high jewelry brand

Pia Wurtzbach has been named the latest global brand ambassador of high jewelry brand Bulgari, joining the ranks of Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, and Priyanka Chopra.

On Tuesday night, Pia’s Bulgari ambassadorship was announced on the brand’s Instagram page.

“We are proud to welcome model, actress, and philanthropist Pia Wurtzbach in the Bulgari family,” Bvlgari wrote on Instagram Stories.

According to Vogue Philippines, the Miss Universe 2015 will take on the title as "friend of the house." 

Pia has been taking over the fashion scene of late.

In May, Pia was named Global Fashion Influencer of The Year by EMIGALA Awards.

The recognition follows Pia being named by two data agencies, Lefty and Launchmetrics, as among the celebrities who generated the highest media values in the recent Milan Fashion Week.

Last year, her husband, Jeremy Jauncey, revealed how Pia was told that she'd never make it to fashion week. 

Clearly, Pia has come a long way.
