Pia Wurtzbach poses with EMIGALA trophy for Global Fashion Influencer of The Year award

Pia Wurtzbach is elated to receive her trophy from the EMIGALA Awards for Global Fashion Influencer of The Year award.

On Instagram, the beauty queen turned fashionista shared some photos taken in Dubai where the awards night took place. 

In the photos, Pia flashed her biggest smile while holding her EMIGALA trophy. The Miss Universe 2015 also shared snaps with Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco.

"Deeply honored to receive the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year Award," Pia said. "Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey!"

"Let's keep inspiring and empowering each other through style and creativity," she added.

The recognition follows Pia being named by two data agencies, Lefty and Launchmetrics, as among the celebrities who generated the highest media values in the recent Milan Fashion Week.

Now in its fourth edition, the EMIGALA Awards honors "various members and contributors to the fashion and beauty industries, both regionally and globally."

Among the EMIGALA Awards' past awardees include Filipino fashion designers Michael Cinco and Furne Amato. Michael was awarded Fashion Designer of the Year while Furne took home the International Fashion Designer of the Year, both in 2021.
