If you’re eyeing getting the same outfit your bias wore, we're here to share happy news: You can get the exact set from local clothing brand Cora and Cecilia, which specializes in making crochet sets.
According to Cora and Cecila owner Maricel Sombrio, BINI’s stylist, Ica Villanueva, reached out to the brand because she "wanted to incorporate florals para sa mga outfits nila, [and] our brand is also known for our floral designs, kaya it was so perfect.”
“It’s really amazing when local artists also support local brands because it doesn’t happen every day. It’s been an honor to work with BINI, to be able to dress them up. Artists should do it more often so that they can help highlight Filipino craftsmanship or Filipino designers,” she added.
Aside from the many designs one can make from crocheting, Maricel said the crochet sets are also suitable for the country’s weather.
“It really is OK for the Philippine weather since crochet materials are yarns, which are very friendly to the skin, tapos magaan siyang suotin. OK siya, maaliwalas, very summer vibes talaga,” she said.
For crochet care tips, Maricel advised to avoid using bleach to preserve the yarns’ colors and only clean them through soft hand washing.
Each crochet set the girls wore costs from P6,000 to P8,500. It may take two weeks to one month to finish a set.
Orders may be sent to Cora and Cecilia’s social media accounts.
BINI is currently topping the charts, rocking the airwaves, and dominating streaming sites with their song "Pantropiko," our unofficial summer song.
