Teen stuns in custom butterfly prom suit inspired by Taylor Swift's 2021 Grammy-Award dress

A teenager was a total head-turner during his prom night after wearing a custom-made butterfly suit.

According to a report by Oscar Oida on "State of the Nation," Sean Ong’s prom suit was made by his mother and his elder brother Johan who spent three months sewing and embroidering hundreds of butterfly patches in his suit.

They took inspiration from Taylor Swift’s 2021 Grammy Awards red carpet dress, created by  Oscar De La Renta.

Johan also said that they initially wanted the same butterfly jacket designed by De La Renta, but it was already sold out and would have cost P500,000.

Sean also took part in the creative process of his dress, the report added..
