Islander Philippines clarifies they're not closing, will continue producing high-quality slippers

Good news: Islander Philippines isn’t closing down.

In response to a post that circulated online, the company said in an official statement that “it will not close and will continue to produce high-quality slippers for the Filipinos.”

“The recent post circulating is related to a specific outlet only and does not impact the overall Islander brand,” they added.

According to Islander Philippines, customers can still order their products through Islander’s online stores on Shopee and Lazada. The slippers can also be found at Footstep branches and department stores.

Earlier today, a viral post by an Islander Factory Outlet made rounds on social media announcing that it will be halting operations by January 1, 2024.
