Bea Alonzo has opened up on the meaning of "Bash," the brand name of her newly launched travel essentials line.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared her excitement as her products go on sale starting Tuesday and talked about the origins of "Bash."

Long-time Bea fans would know right away, but it turns out that there's another layer of meaning to the name.

"Bash is short for my well-loved character in 'One More Chance,' Basha," she said. "Bash also means a festive event or a party, and we want everyone to celebrate every journey with Bash."

"We hope to be your constant and trusted companion in all your travels. Together, we can make every moment a bash."

According to Bea, she has been working on Bash for nearly a year. It was borne out of her love for travel and organizing things.

"I had a vision to create a brand that enhances travelers' experiences. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to explore various destinations, and each journey has left a lasting impression on me," she said.

"I wanted to create a brand that not only encapsulates the spirit of exploration but also provides practical and stylish solutions for travelers."

In one of her vlogs, Bea showed her followers how she packed for a trip to Europe with her fiancé, Dominic Roque.

Aside from Bash, Bea also has a farm in Zambales, Beati Firma.

The actress currently stars with Dennis Trillo in "Love Before Sunrise," a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines. The series airs on GMA Telebabad weeknights at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider" and streams on Viu.
