It's a night of fashion, compassion, and nature.

On Sunday, the PNP Women and Children Protection Center and Caritas Manila Inc., together with the World Flower Council and Makati Garden Club, mounted a charity event dubbed "Nature and Fashion with Compassion."

A fashion show that aims to raise awareness and support for women and vulnerable children, the event featured designs from Kazuhiko Tanaka of Japan, Susan Gonzales from the Philippines, To Duy Kha of Vietnam, April Ong from the Philippines, and Anson Low of Singapore.

Their floral designs, which models flaunted on the runway, were all for sale, with proceeds going to support Caritas Manila's Restorative Justice Program, which focuses on women and children's protection against online violence and human trafficking.

"This event is a testament to the fulfillment of this divine purpose," said Ces Noble, the event's co-chair and Philippine National Police Academy’s Criminology and Human Resource Management professor.

"It was born out of a heartfelt desire to make a positive impact and extend a helping hand to those in need, specifically women and children who have been victims of unimaginable cruelty," she added.

Nature and Fashion with Compassion was held on November 12 at Dusit Thani Manila.
