The Philippines' first Gashapon Bandai Official store is now open at Mitsukoshi BGC

Another Japanese pop culture favorite has landed in the Philippines!

The country's first Gashapon Bandai Official store has officially opened at the Mitsukoshi Mall in Bonifacio Global City.

Gashapon, a toy-vending machine recognized as a trademark of Bandai, a leading toy manufacturer in Japan, dispenses random toys enclosed in a spherical plastic case, adding an element of surprise and nostalgia.

The thrill of not knowing which toy will emerge upon cranking the vending machine is what makes it an instant hit among many.

At the Philippine store, you can browse through 300 machines and collect as many toys as you want.

Each gashapon token is priced at P65, with three tokens at P195, and an option for 30 tokens at P1,950 for the avid collectors.

Some of the featured toys at the Gashapon Bandai Official store at Mitsukoshi Mall include "Sakura x Sanrio" collectibles, "Spy x Family" chibis, K-pop group Enhypen trinkets, and "Hunter x Hunter" mini toys, among others.

Visitors are advised to maintain orderliness by selecting their preferred machine, waiting patiently for their turn, and refraining from inserting any other items into the token slots.

The Gashapon Bandai Official Store is located on the 2nd floor of the Mitsukoshi Mall in BGC, open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
