On ‘Drag Race PH,’ Maricel Soriano's OOTD references outfit from 1992 film ‘Ikaw Pa Lang Ang Minahal’

Maricel Soriano just graced the stage of “Drag Race Philippines” as guest judge for the “Dramarama Mama” episode, which aired on Wednesday night.

On X (formerly Twitter), netizens couldn’t help but notice the veteran actress' OOTD — a bloody red dress with lacy floral cardigan — and pointed back to the iconic wedding scene of her 1992 film “Ikaw Pa Lang Ang Minahal.” 

To those who didn’t get the reference, the Diamond Star took to X and reposted the scene from the movie. “Boogsh” she wrote in the caption and used the hashtag #DragRacePH.

The episode featured Mama Mary offering her wisdom and constructive criticism to the seven remaining drag queens who participated in the acting challenge.

It is no secret that the Gay icon has long been a follower and a fan of the drag scene in the Philippines.

Last year, the 58-year-old actress released a spoof on “Drag Race Philippines” and “Drag Den Philippines” through a parody vlog with Xilhouette and Shewarma.
