Lovi Poe's wedding gown designer reveals they finished her dress a few days before her wedding
Lovi Poe looked perfect on her wedding, so it's hard to believe her gorgeous wedding gown was finished just a few days before her big day.
On Instagram, fashion designer Patricia Santos revealed she gave birth a few days before Lovi's wedding in England so they [had to do our fitting at home so I can attend to her and my baby and just make it happen."
"I [was] still recovering from my Cesarean section and my baby was just [a] few days old, I couldn't leave the house," Patricia recalled.
Despite the struggles of being a first-time mom, Patricia moved heavens and Earth to create Lovi's dream wedding dress.
"You [Lovi] have always been one of the kindest and sweetest. It was such a pleasure creating and bringing your dream wedding dress to life," she said.
In a separate post, Lovi shared closer looks at her intricate wedding gown, an ode to a Victorian aesthetic.
"Stepping into what feels like my past life in [full-fledged] Victorian style. Must say, a dream come true," Lovi wrote.
The gown featured a high-neck lace-trimmed silhouette, puffed long sleeves, and some ball gown drama.
A little before her surprise wedding, Lovi revealed she had been engaged for two years with film producer Montgomery Blancowe.
They tied the knot in a dreamy wedding ceremony at the Cliveden House in the UK last August 26.
She walked the aisle with Ogie Alcasid's "Pangarap ko ang Ibigin Ka," popularized by Regine Velasquez, playing in the background.
Over the weekend, Lovi revealed a locket containing the photo of her dad, Fernando Poe, Jr. completed her wedding day look.
