Anne Curtis amused as netizens make 'lumpia' memes over her GMA Gala 2023 look

Anne Curtis was a good sport as fans compared her GMA Gala 2023 look to the well-loved Filipino dish lumpia!

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Anne was aware that she became a meme in her elegant white column dress.

The "It's Showtime" star joined the fun by cracking a joke to fellow host Vice Ganda, saying "here, have some lumpia" while handing her the dress.

Anne and Vice continued their jokes on the show, with Vice saying, "Kaya lang wala siyang nahanap na outfit, ang nahanap niya lumpia."

"Yes, pero at least fresh, fresh lumpia," Anne followed.

"Mamahaling lumpia ka dun ha," Vhong Navarro added.

On Saturday, the "It's Showtime" hosts attended their first-ever GMA Gala 2023, where Anne bagged the FRONTROW Luxxe Royalty award.

Anne wore a minimalist white silk dress from Saint Laurent and jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

The GMA Gala 2023, which became the talk of the town over the weekend, was a fundraiser for the Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charitable organizations.
