Precious Paula Nicole achieves dream of walking in a fashion show: 'Here's to more runways in the future'
Precious Paula Nicole can now add another title to her name: a model.
The first-ever drag superstar in the Philippines just fulfilled her dreams of becoming a runway model in the recently concluded fashion show hosted by Avon Philippines.
On Thursday, Precious posted an Instagram Reel to immortalize her experience as a runway model.
"Even before I became a drag queen, it has always been a dream of mine to walk the runway as a model," Precious said in the caption.
"I have been, and forever will be, a huge fan of [Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model]!" she added.
According to the drag queen, she immediately betted on herself and audtioned when she first learned about the all-queer fashion show.
"I really signed up and auditioned because I wanted to be a part of it," she said. "And I'm proud that I did!"
"Now, one of my dreams has officially come true. Thank you, thank you [Avon Philippines] for letting me have this milestone! And here's to more runways in the future!" she added.
Held at Baked Studios last Wednesday, "Everybody for Every Body" was a fashion show that wanted to celebrate all kinds of body and sexuality. The queer models wore Avon's Flexicomfort intimate apparel line.
Aside from Precious, Klea Pineda also participated in the said fashion show. It was also her first time to model for a brand as an openly gay.
In October 2022, Precious Paula Nicole became the first ever winner of "Drag Race Philippines."
The reality show teased netizens with a tropical-themed poster for Season 2.
