Klea Pineda struts the runway of an all-queer fashion show
Klea Pineda is more confident than ever as she strutted the runway of an all-queer fashion show as an openly gay.
The Sparkle actress walked the runway wearing pieces from Avon Philippines' Flexicomfort intimate apparel line and an asymmetrical petticoat made from bra straps.
According to Klea, being part of an all-queer fashion show for the first time since coming out as gay was a memorable experience.
"Malaking bagay siya for me kasi first runway ko 'to for the [LGBT+] community," the 24-year-old actress told GMA News Online.
"Sobrang hangover pa ako ngayon, nafi-feel ko pa rin 'yung tension sa body ko, pero walking there kanina, sobrang mixed emotions," she added.
Klea said having her family and her girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf, in the audience gave her an extra boost of confidence.
"Andun 'yung family ko sa audience, nanonood sa'kin so mas nakakadagdag ng confidence, nakaka-empower siya lalo," she said.
Klea also added that Katrice has always been supportive of her career, even before they made their relationship public.
"Very supportive talaga si Katrice since Day 1," she said.
"Ganyan na talaga siya and I'm very grateful and thankful talaga sa support na pinapakita niya sa'kin and pinaparamdam niya sa 'kin," she added.
Klea came out as gay on her 24th birthday. A few days later, she also went public about her relationship with Katrice.
Last Saturday, the couple attended a Pride March in Quezon City. They also joined Gabbi Garcia and her father for a Pride Ride.
Held in Baked Studios last Wednesday, "Everybody for Every Body" was a fashion show by Avon Philippines to celebrate all kinds of body and sexuality featuring its Flexicomfort intimate apparel line.
