Francis M’s polo from the ‘Bagsakan’ MV sold for P620K for Parokya Ni Edgar’s Gab Chee Kee

The school polo Francis M wore in the “Bagsakan” music video, the iconic rap song featuring him, Parokya Ni Edgar, and Gloc-9, was sold in auction for P620,000 for the benefit of Parokya Ni Edgar’s band guitarist, Gab Chee Kee.

On Instagram on Saturday, Chito Miranda penned an appreciation message for the Magalonas for helping them raise funds.

“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nag-bid para sa polo na ginamit ni Sir Francis Magalona sa music video ng Bagsakan,” Chito wrote.

“Lalo kay Boss Toyo na nanalo sa bidding, na sya ring nakabili ng polo ni Gloc9 for P80k, at sa polo ko for P150k (at yung "Halina sa Parokya" puppets na nabili nya for 85k),” he added.

According to Parokya Ni Edgar’s vocalist, the money they earned from selling their band’s memorabilia was a massive help for Gab’s medical bills.

“Sobrang salamat din kay Ma'am Pia Magalona sa pag-donate ng polo ni Sir Kiko para kay Gab,” Chito said.

“Alam ko po na sobra yung sentimental value ng polo sa inyo pero pinili nyo pa ring i-donate para makatulong sa kabanda namin,” he added.

Chito also thanked Saab Magalona for connecting him to Pia so they could coordinate about selling the legendary polo.

“And aside from that, [Saab] donated more than P300k mula sa shirt company nila na [Linya Linya],” he added.

Last January, Chito revealed Gab was hospitalized due to pneumonia, a complication brought on by his lymphoma.
