Celebrities grace Michael Leyva’s 10th anniversary fashion show at the National Museum
Celebrities shone bright as they walked the halls of the National Museum of the Philippines to mark Michael Leyva’s 10th anniversary in the fashion industry.
Among those who strutted the fashion designer’s new collection “Hiraya” include Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis.
Other celebrities who also attended the event include Kapuso stars Alden Richards and Sanya Lopez, who wowed in a black ensemble.
“Hiraya” is an “ancient Filipino word signifying ‘the fruit of one’s hopes and aspirations’,” the museum wrote in a Facebook post.
Leyva has created a mark in his decade-long career. Among his most iconic masterpieces include the yellow gown that Kris Aquino wore at the “Crazy Rich Asians” premiere in 2018.
He also used his skills to help others. During the height of the pandemic in 2020, Leyva produced PPEs and face masks for COVID-19 frontliners, according to a GMA Entertainment report.
Michael Leyva dedicates the collection to his late brother, Brian.
