Celeste Cortesi to grace the runway of first-ever BYS Philippines fashion week

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi is set to strut the runway of BYS Fashion Week!

Happening from Thursday until Saturday, the first-ever BYS Fashion Week marks the Australian cosmetics brand’s 10th anniversary in the Philippines.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization shared the announcement on Instagram with a caption, “PHILIPPINES ARE YOU READY? We are!”

“Watch out for @celeste_cortesi at the very first BYS Fashion Week from October 6-8,” they added.

The three-day spectacle will feature new and emerging local designers who have been shaking things up in fashion and beauty.

BYS Fashion Week will kick off on Thursday with Russell Villafuerte and Randolf Clothing, both known for championing sustainability. This will be followed by a glamorous set inspired by the zest and sensuality of makeup, featuring designers Jaz Cerezo and Cheetah Rivera.

On Friday, BYS Fashion Week will push forward one of the brand’s advocacies, Break Your Stigma, with mental health advocate Kaye Morales. In the evening, JustBonita takes the stage in a display of pop culture relevance.

On Saturday, Issa Pressman will introduce her eponymous fashion label, I S S A. To close BYS Fashion Week, the makeup brand will take attendees to the streets highlighting outfits by Cruz MNL and Thian Rodriguez barreling the catwalk. —Hermes Tunac/JCB, GMA News
