Gabrielle Basiano flies to Egypt for Miss Intercontinental in stylish straw hat
Gabrielle Basiano is on her way to Egypt for the Miss Intercontinental 2022 pageant.
Wearing a neutral fit accentuated by a stylish straw hat, the Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022 waved the Philippine flag with a huge smile on her face.
"Muli nating ibabandera ang watawat ng Pilipinas sa Miss Intercontinental," she wrote. "Ang laban na ito ay hindi lang para sa akin, kundi para sa lahat ng sambayanang Pilipino. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!"
("We will once again wave the flag of the Philippines in Miss Intercontinental. This fight is not just for me, but for all the Filipino people. Long live the Philippines!")
In another post, Gabrielle wished for everyone's support as she starts this journey of hers. She also said she will give it her all.
"Your support means a lot to me and it's given me courage to carry on and represent the Philippines on a global scale. Once again, I am grateful for all your prayers. My journey is yours too."
Gabrielle was one of the queens crowned during the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 coronation in July. She also won the Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown awards.
The Miss Intercontinental 2022 coronation will take place in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt on October 14.
