Max Collins bares details of the Michael Cinco creation she wore to GMA Gala Night
Max Collins’ beaded bralette and voluminous black skirt was one of the most memorable looks from the GMA Gala Night.
The fit was actually a piece created by iconic Filipino designer Michael Cinco and was flown in from Dubai!
In a vlog, Max shared that this is her first time wearing a look by the designer.
“This bralette here was hand-beaded with Swarovski crystals, and you can see it’s gorgeous,” the Kapuso actress said.
“And this beautiful skirt has electric pleats, so tiers of electric pleats and a mini skirt inside. And then we have Swarovski details up here," she added.
It was Max's stylist Adrianne Concepcion who had the idea of her wearing a bralette.
“When Max showed me the design initially, we thought that the initial design might overwhelm her because she’s very petite,” Adrianne said.
“And true to her essence, we wanted to go a bit sexy—with an undertone ng sexy. So we went with this embroidered crystal bralette by Michael Cinco," she added.
The stylist also said that although the gala theme was Old Hollywood, she and Max did not want to have a literal interpretation.
“It’s more of an homage to [the theme] with the voluminous skirt. It’s Old Hollywood with the intricate details and also with the voluminous ballgown. So it’s going to make a very strong impression,” Adrianne added.
Max’s look was completed with silver diamond earrings and necklaces, custom platform heels, and a crystal-encrusted clutch. The gloves she wore came right on time from Dubai too.
“Thank you so much Michael Cinco for making this custom creation for me. It was such a dream to wear and I can’t believe I was able to wear a Micheal Cinco piece for the first ever GMA Gala Night. So thank you for making my dream come true,” Max said.
