Thalia recreates iconic ‘Marimar’ look

Thalia has recreated “Marimar” and nailed it—didn’t even look like it’s been years!

On Instagram, the Mexican actress shared a video of herself transforming into her iconic character. She did her hair, applied tanning makeup, and even wore the original dress from the telenovela!

After dressing up as Marimar, she recreated a scene from the drama, which showed her running on the beach, lying on her stomach, and drawing a heart on the sand with her fingers.

In the caption, Thalia looked back at the opportunity given to her and expressed how grateful she was to have portrayed the part. She is also amazed by how Marimar continues to be a hit worldwide.

“In my wildest dreams would I have ever imagined that this character would be a part of me during my lifetime. Twenty years later, it made me cry tears of joy and remember an avalanche of moments,” she wrote.

“I had so much fun doing this for you all. I have to admit though that I did it for me too and I’m glad I had something hidden in the [heart],” she added with the hashtag #Marimar4Ever.
