SONA 2022 red carpet report: 10 of the best dressed attendees

Politicians, their significant others, and other guests certainly went out of their way to look their best at the first State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Walking the red carpet of the Batasang Pambansa, even politicians turned into fashion icons. It's a most welcome event, given the gravity and seriousness of the political event, where the President will lay down his plans for the Philippines.

Of course, Heart Evangelista is among them, charming the cameras in immaculate Mark Bumgarner numbers for both the morning and afternoon sessions. There is also the Gomez family, who look very smart and mabango in their Filipiniana best.

And then there are also pleasant surprises like Monica Teodoro, the wife of former Secretary of Defense Gibo Teodoro Jr., who wowed the red carpet in a Jun Escario number. Kabataan Partylist Representative Raoul Manuel meanwhile donned an eye-catching hand-painted barong.
