Sen. Robin Padilla wears a mall-bought barong for SONA 2022

Senator Robin Padilla has arrived at the Senate looking sputing in a mall-bought barong.

As reported by Mav Gonzales of GMA News, the actor-turned-senator bought his barong at an SM Mall.

The neophyte lawmaker topped the senatorial elections last May. Among his proposed bills include shifting to federalism, legalization of medical marijuana, and divorce, among others.

This afternoon, Marcos is set to unveil his plans for the country for the next 12 months in his first-ever State of the Nation Address.

In the meantime, members of the 19th Congress will convene in the morning to electing their new House Speaker today. — LA, GMA News
