Kris Bernal tries on her 2-in-1 ‘modern-day princess’ wedding gown by Mak Tumang

For her fairytale wedding with Perry Choi last month, Kris Bernal wore a 2-in-1 custom Mak Tumang gown which transformed her into a playful and feminine "modern-day princess."

In her latest vlog, the actress took viewers back to her final dress fitting featuring the world-renowned Filipino designer himself.

Kris was already overwhelmed with excitement after slipping into her dress' unique base which would allow her to move and dance freely and comfortably during the reception.

The actress, however, was at a loss for words once Mak wrapped the intricately-beaded ombre skirt that was fit for a ball.

Kris also brought her strappy Mach and Mach "glass slippers" and a stunning white flower crown she excitedly placed on top of her head.

"Oh my gosh, Disney princess na 'ko, guys!" the bride said as she studied the final look in the mirror.

As she said before in her Instagram post, Kris gave Mak complete freedom in making her bridal gown.

In the end, he created for her the gown of her dreams which perfectly fit her fun, feminine and playful personality.

"Usually pag nagfo-formulate kami ng design sa isang client, we usually interview muna 'yung mga requirements nila kung ano 'yung gusto nila," Mak said.

"And then, syempre, kailangan titignan muna 'yung personality ni Kris, so from mula doon nakapag come up kami ng idea na, 'yun nga, 'yung modern day princess, and doon nagsimula lahat."

Mak initially created a gorgeous Cinderella-inspired "civil wedding dress" for Kris as her wedding plans were hampered by the series of lockdowns brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
