Look at Michelle Dee’s final evening gown as Miss World Philippines 2019

Before passing the crown to Cebu City’s Tracy Maureen Perez last Sunday, Michelle Dee looked beautiful as ever as she took one final walk as Miss World Philippines 2019.

The Kapuso beauty queen, TV host and model took the stage in a sparkling emerald green statement gown made by renowned Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran.

Michelle expressed her gratitude for  the crystal-encrusted creation in a special video she posted on Instagram on Wednesday.

“My last dance for the World,” she wrote in the caption.

“Thank you to my whole team, especially Francis Libiran for another stunning creation," she wrote tagging the designer. "We wanted to embody pure elegance and class and this was nothing short of that.”

If you can recall, Francis Libiran also made the gorgeous sea green evening gown Michelle wore at the 2019 Miss World pageant in London, England.

Beauty queen blood definitely runs in Michelle’s veins, being the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and the cousin of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez.

After a long reign as Miss World Philippines 2019, Michelle passed on the crown to  Cebu City’s Tracy Maureen Perez who won the 2021 edition of the pageant last Sunday. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
