Here’s a closer look at Rabiya Mateo’s ‘final walk’ gown

Before crowning her successor last Thursday, Rabiya Mateo graced the stage in a beautiful white gown and took her final walk as the reigning Miss Universe Philippines.

On Tuesday, the beauty queen gave her followers a closer look at the dazzling gown she wore.

In her photo, Rabiya looked absolutely captivating as she posed on the beach in the gown with a bodice embellished with silver jewels and translucent sleeves that added magic to her look.

"Thank you so much Francis Libiran for making my gown for my final walk as Miss Universe Philippines. You are one beautiful soul! Looking forward for more projects together," she wrote on Instagram.

Last week, Rabiya passed the crown to Cebu City candidate Beatrice Gomez, who made history after becoming the first openly out member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines title.

In October 2020, Rabiya was crowned Miss Universe Philippines. She represented the country at the global Miss Universe pageant in Florida in May this year. – RC, GMA News
