The sweet reason Kris Bernal wore gorgeous blue eyeshadow on her wedding day

All eyes were on Kris Bernal's incredible Mak Tumang wedding dress, but the actress made sure people paid attention to a cute little detail of her wedding day ensemble: her gorgeous blue eyeshadow.

On Instagram, Kris posted a photo of herself clad in her wedding gown and gave a closer look to her makeup, which was done by Carissa Medved.

"Something blue on my eyes," she wrote in the caption of her post.

According to Kris, it's a nod to Cinderella, her top favorite Disney Princess.

"She's gentle, brave, full of hope, and empowering. Above all, what really got me stoked to her is her kindness," she shared.

"No matter how cruel and harsh the people around her were," she added.

Kris asked Carissa "to add hints of blue on my eyes so everytime I would check myself on the mirror, I'll be reminded of what really makes a person beautiful: her heart."

"And Carissa nailed it!" Kris exclaimed. "Perfect for my Fairytale-themed wedding," she added.
