Pia Wurtzbach is a globetrotting goddess on cover of local fashion mag
Pia Wurtzbach just graced the cover of local fashion magazine Metro’s September issue.
With Dubai’s breathtaking skyscrapers as her backdrop, the Miss Universe 2015 looked like a powerful, globetrotting goddess in a metallic creation by Dubai-based Filipino designer Ezra Santos.
In her Metro feature themed #DefyToBeGreater, Pia talked about her travels and how the proud Filipina came to show strength amid adversity.
“I’m at the point in my life where I want to be a part of someone else’s success because other people have helped me to be who I am now—helped me to become Miss Universe. So it’s all about giving back now,” Pia was quoted as saying.
“Iba rin pala ’yung feeling and sense of fulfillment when now it’s your turn to help somebody make their dream come true. It’s such a nice feeling; parang nanalo ka na rin,” she added.
(The feeling and sense of fulfillment is different when now it's your turn to help somebody make their dream come true. It's such a nice feeling; it's like you won too.)
Pia’s September feature for Metro was made possible with photography by CS Toledo, videography by Yugen PR, and a cover story by Ceia Ylagan. —Margaret Claire Layug/KG, GMA News
