COS, London-based clothing brand, to open 1st store in the Philippines
London-based brand COS, which is recognized for its clothing ensembles that have a modern yet timeless style, will be launching in the Philippines this year.
“Opening in the Philippines is an exciting step for the COS brand, said COS Asia Pacific managing director Christoffer Sellin in a press statement.
“We have been hoping to enter the market for some time and I think our new Manila store is a great place to start. I’m excited to see how new customers will engage with our brand and collections,” Sellin added.
The store will be located in Metro Manila and is said to “reflect COS’ design sensibilities while incorporating values on sustainability.”
The new branch will open with COS Spring/Summer 2021 collection, which is “founded on refined wardrobe staples from tailored sets to lightweight knitwear and effortless blazers.”
The statement said this collection will feature “sustainably-sourced materials such as organic cottons, jewellery crafted from recycled yoghurt pots and zero-waste seamless knitwear sets, with each piece designed to take the wearer beyond the season.”
According to its release, COS is known for collections that “balance innovative design with enduring style, with every piece made to last beyond the season.”
It also said the brand is inspired by the arts and contemporary culture and has had collaborations with established and emerging artists, galleries and creative studios.
