KC Concepcion to auction off designer bags, shoes to help typhoon victims
KC Concepcion is saying goodbye to some of her most beloved designer possessions to raise money for the victims of back-to-back typhoons that pummelled Luzon this month.
In her latest vlog, the singer, actress and entrepreneur featured part of her massive shoe and bag collection that she she will soon be putting on auction.
Items to go on sale include several pairs of heels by Christian Louboutin, Gucci sneakers and some of her favorite thigh-high boots.
According to her video’s description, KC’s online “preloved shoe + bag auction” is set to take place on November 29th on the KC’s Closet Instagram account.
KC also said the “100% of proceeds from your purchase on the week of release will go to the families affected by typhoons Rolly and Ulysses (Vamco).”
“In light of the recent back-to-back Typhoons that have destroyed our communities, KC’s closet fam must step up, give back and help,” KC said.
More than 60 deaths were reported after Typhoon Ulysses swept across Luzon with heavy rains and floods that left thousands of families displaced.
KC is one of a handful of celebrities who have been involved in helping flood-hit families in Cagayan, distributing relief goods and selling items from her jewelry line to raise money for rescue operations. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
