Uniqlo's new collection perfectly fits today's 'new lifestyle'


Uniqlo just dropped its 2020 Fall/Winter collection, taking into consideration everybody's "new lifestyle."

In a digital press preview, Uniqlo said this new collection is inspired by "concepts impacting customers' needs, wants, and aspirations."

The new collection has four categories, as well as pieces from its Lifewear line, and collaborations with New York-based fashion designer Hana Tahima and global style icon Ines de la Fressange. 

Of all the categories, "The Outdoors" seems most apt for our locked down lives. marries the performance of outerwear and sportswear into streetwear design, perfect for working out or even just for everyday wear. It has a transitional function that can protect its users from various climates, too.

Some of their fashion essentials under this category include their Airism V-Neck Short Sleeve Long T-shirt, U Mock Turtleneck Long-Sleeve T-Shirt, and  AIrism UV Protection Long-Sleeve Full-Zip Hoodie, Dry EX Shirt, Ultra Stretch Active Shorts, and Pocketable UV cut park, and Airism Soft Leggings.

The "Work and Craft" category meanwhile is perfect for well, a household's alay, who needs to leave the house to run errands. Pieces in this category are made modular, versatile, and easy-to-combine for a more convenient and faster way to dress up.

Some of pieces under this category include U Crew Neck T-Shirt, Double Face Hooded Coat, Ultra Stretch Jeans, Dry Stretch Easy Shorts, Draped T-Shirt, Dry Pique Polo Shirt, Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Color Jeans, and the Random Ribbed Crew Neck Short-Sleeve T-Shirt, among others.

The "Art and Design" category contains timeless pieces that can be put together to give you a modern uniform look. Fashion pieces under this category are perfect for those who've resumed working in their office spaces.

Under this category some of the fashion pieces you can mix and match from Uniqlo include the Smart Ankle pants, Marino Blend Boat Neck, Long-Sleeve Dress, Georgette Frill 3.4 blouse, Comfort Blazer Jacket, Extra Fine Cotton BroadCloth Polo Shirt, and the Uniqlo Rayon Striped Long-Sleeve Blouse.

Expect feminine pieces from New York-based fashion designer Hana Tahima, whose pieces definitely highlight the beauty of women in all stages of life. While Uniqlo's collaboration with global style icon Ines de la Fressange are quite the statement. Fashion pieces from this line is inspired by the independence of 1970s sophisticated women.
