Mak Tumang shows replica of Catriona Gray's lava gown for Madame Tussauds wax figure

Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang showed the "exclusive replica" of Catriona Gray's lava gown to be worn by her Madame Tussauds wax figure.

On Instagram, Mak shared a photo of both the original and the replica lava gown side by side and really, there's not much difference, no?

"SPOT THE DIFFERENCE exclusive replica for Madame Tussauds #offtolondon," Mak wrote in the caption of his post.

In the comments section, the Miss Universe 2018 queen herself got excited and wrote, "Omgomgomgomg," followed by heart eyes emojis.

The iconic lava gown, inspired by the Mayon Volcano, is the dress Catriona wore when she won the Miss Universe title in 2018.

Catriona announced that she's having her own Madame Tussauds wax figure displayed in Singapore last January.

Catriona will be the first Filipino to have a wax figure in Madame Tussauds Singapore, while Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was the first Filipino to have a wax figure in Hong Kong. 

Pia's wax figure was unveiled in Manila last March, and it is permanently displayed in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
