This Iloilo-based designer creates 'Money Heist'-inspired PPEs for frontliners
Ilolilo-based fashion designer Ram Silva designed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inspired by current crowd favorite Spanish Netflix series "Money Heist."
On his Facebook page, Ram posted photos of frontliners from the internal medicine department in Western Visayas Medical Center wearing red hazmats and Dali masks inside the hospital.
The frontliners mirrored what "Money Heist" members wore in the internationally-acclaimed series.
According to Ram, the Dali masks were only worn as props for the photo; you know, to mirror the Money Heist costume.
In an interview with GMA News Online, Ram said he decided to help in producing PPEs to spread "a different kind of positive amidst the chaos."
After travelling, Ram went on a 14-day quarantine during which he "suffered from anxiety pag uwi ko kasi I need to close my business for a while."
He said he needed to do something — to help! — even while in quarantine.
Ram shared the photos a few days after Money Heist Part 4 launched on Netflix.
In case you don't know, Money Heist's story follows a group of red jumpsuit-clad robbers who attempt to pull off heist after heist robbing first the Royal Mint of Spain then for the latest season the Bank of Spain. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
