How Pinoys can achieve the 'oppa' look

Everyone's swooning over the handsome, well-dressed leading men of K-dramas.

And while they probably exist solely on television, there's no harm taking a leaf out of their book.

In a report on "Unang Balita," hair, makeup and fashion stylist Dave Grona shared how Pinoys can nail the "oppa" look.

1. Think layers

It gets cold in South Korea so layering is something people do there.

It's harder to get away with that in the Philippines, but Dave said you can opt for cotton fabric to keep yourself comfy while being stylish.

2. Play around with monotones

Dave said that our favorite oppas tend to wear different shades of a single color.

"They always play 'yung mga monotones. If you want to wear gray, 'yung color scheme nila is all shades of gray," he said.

The fun part about this is you can always mix and match.

3. Go curly, or wear full bangs

Yes, you have to style your hair too if you want to achieve the oppa look!

Dave said the common hairstyles of our favorite K-drama leading men are curly or full bangs.

"When it comes to hairstyle, sobrang pwede 'yung mga hairstyle nila...kulot, full bangs, sobrang okay siya para sa mga Pilipino," he said.

Dave also presented a few looks as an example. Watch the full report below:
