Miss Universe Canada 2019 wears medical marijuana-inspired outfit for National Costume Competition
Ontario-born Alyssa Boston, Canada's bet to the Miss Universe 2019, wore a medical marijuana-inspired outfit during the pageant's National Costume Competition on Saturday.
"I am medical marijuana 'cause Canada was the second country that legalized it," Boston said, in the Miss Universe Instagram Stories.

The first country in the world that legalized marijuana was Uruguay.
The 24-year old beauty queen is an advocate for the legalization of medical cannabis as a solution for various health conditions.
During the recently-concluded swimsuit segment, it was mentioned that Boston also created a platform on social media with the hashtag #TalkAboutMe to spark discussions on mental health.
