PHL bet Samantha Lo exits Miss Grand International pageant early

The Philippines' representative Samantha Lo failed to make it to the first cut of Miss Grand International, already losing the chance to bring home the crown early in the competition.

During the coronation night held in Venezuela on Saturday (Manila Time), Lo was unable to reach the top 20. However, the Cebuana beauty queen made heads turn with her Tausug-inspired costume.

She also secured a spot in the top 10 Best in Swimsuits.

At the end of the ceremony, Miss Venezuela was crowned as the winner of the pageant. Miss Mexico was hailed as 1st runner up, followed by Miss Thailand, Miss Panama, and Miss Brazil.

Lo almost didn't make it to the pageant due to complications with her travel documents. Leaving the country on October 9, she was only able to get into Venezuela last October 20. —LBG, GMA News
