Muslim model gets featured in Sports Illustrated wearing hijab, burkini for the first time

For the first time, a model wearing a hijab and burkini has been featured in sports magazine Sports Illustrated.

According to a report in Unang Balita on Wednesday, Halima Aden is making history as the first to be included in the magazine's editorials wearing the modest style of Muslim women's swimwear.

In an Instagram post, Halima said that the Sports Illustrated feature sends a message to her community and the world that all women can be celebrated.
